Cape Air, Jet Blue,
Embry Riddle, and the University of North Dakota announce the first
of it's kind
JetBlue University Gateway
Program
A carefully designed
career path encompassing education and industry experience.
In order to
successfully complete The “University Gateway”, you must complete a
number of steps, including:

Recommendations
from professors at respective university (UND or ERAU)
-
GPA of 3.0 or
above
-
Continued
successful enrollment in an Aviation Accreditation Board
International (AABI) – accredited aviation program
-
Internship at a
Regional Airline Partner like Cape Air/ Nantucket Airlines (waiverable
for upper classmen)
-
Orientation at
JetBlue
-
Serve as
Instructor at respective university after graduation, gaining
1500 hours of flight time
-
Fly for a Regional
partner - Cape Air for approximately two and half years,
gaining another 2500 hours (which count towards your interview)
-
Successfully pass
a final interview at JetBlue
